Digital Marketing- Apprenticeship

Gillian Arnold, 10-11 Post House Wynd, DL3 7LU

Email: recruitment@gillianarnold.com

Level: Advanced (Level 3)

The Apprenticeship

Established in 2011, Gillian Arnold is a designer brand. With products including home wares, furnishings, jewellery and gifts, the brand is famed for its personalised feel thanks to founder Gillian’s hands-on approach to her work. To create her prints, Gillian uses cuttings of British wildflowers and plants, making the brand unique in comparison to other designer labels. Products are generally produced at the company’s production bases in the North-East England towns Darlington and Bishop Auckland. The company works alongside over 150 wholesale stockists across the UK and abroad, supplying them with goods to sell on their websites and at their premises. Products are also sold in the company’s own boutiques and on their website.

Working alongside the rest of the digital team, you will be responsible for promoting the Gillian Arnold brand on a number of different platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest (full training on how to navigate these sites will be provided).  You will generate new ideas for digital content, and establish business relationships with potential clients through responding to online comments, as well as maintaining pre-existing relationships with present clients.  To access content needed for digital use, including product images, you will liaise with other key members of staff who will guide you.  The overall aim of this role is not only to enhance the individual’s skills in digital marketing, but to strengthen Gillian Arnold as a brand going into the future too through better digital connections.
