You’ll have a huge collection of carefully curated imagery to play with, from vintage botanicals and traditional festive foliage to contemporary florals, berries, birds, butterflies and unexpected decorative details. Your wreath might be richly traditional, wonderfully eclectic or beautifully contemporary. Every design will be different.

Drawing on decades of experience in the art and design industry, Gillian will guide you through colour, balance, composition and professional transfer-printing techniques. She’ll help you bring your ideas together into a polished, professional-quality velvet cushion cover you’ll be proud to display.

Your finished design is permanently printed onto the velvet cover, creating a durable, machine-washable piece to enjoy Christmas after Christmas. Keep it for your own home or make a thoughtful gift for someone special.

No previous experience is needed—just a little Christmas spirit and a willingness to have a go. Enjoy some creative time for yourself and leave with something lovely that feels unmistakably yours.

What participants will create

A unique Christmas wreath design, professionally transfer-printed onto a velvet cushion cover. Participants choose and arrange their own imagery with Gillian’s guidance, learning skills they can apply to future creative projects.

What the workshop includes

A velvet cushion cover, access to Gillian’s carefully curated imagery, design tuition, all workshop materials and professional transfer-printing. The finished item is a cushion cover; a cushion pad is not included.
