Gillian Arnold Drum Lampshade Course

Join Gillian Arnold for a fun packed course in lampshade making you will not only design your very own Gillian Arnold Lampshade leaving you with a statement interior lighting accent. You will also be leaving us with a new skill which you can use for personal use in the futures, or it could be the start to your new portfolio and career within the interior design industry. Upon completion you will us with your Gillian Arnold Completion Diploma.

You will enjoy taking the course in Gillian’s beautiful industrial modern and botanically infused shop in the hearts of Darlington. Gillian has been running professional training courses across the country for over 20 years, with a wealth of experience under her belt you will be in great hands. To join the training, you do not need any previous experience in the industry.

What does the course cover?

You will be producing high quality, professionally finished lampshade from start to finish that you will take home with you, along with the knowledge and ability to make your own lampshades at home. The lampshade included will be 20cm wide by 24cm deep which is ideal on a table lamp stand, unless you choose to upgrade to a larger size. Upon booking you will receive an email with all the upgrade options available to you.

What’s included?

We provide all the necessary tools, equipment, and skills that you will need, including material from Gillian’s Unique Collection of over 30 designs. You can choose to make the lampshade either as a pendant (ceiling) or table on the night.

Arrival time: 5:30pm – 8pm

Workshop Duration: 2hrs 30mins

Arrival: Meet & greet Gillian, her team and your fellow students with a brief Icebreaker

Getting Started: Gillian or a member of her team will take you through the Theory behind Gillian’s Unique Method.

Make Your Own Gillian Arnold Product: Once you feel confident you will get stuck into making your very own Gillian Arnold Product to take home. Learning how to create and finish your product to the Gillian Arnold standard.

Achievement Ceremony: You will then be awarded your Gillian Arnold Completion Diploma.

We provide refreshment and a bottle of bubbles (Prosecco) or a nice cuppa if you prefer! We endeavour to provide a fun learning environment where you will not only leave with a new skill, but a beautiful Gillian Arnold Lampshade also we want to ensure you leave us having had a fabulous experience for you to remember for years to come.

If you are traveling by train Darlington is on the East Coast Mainline making it an easy commute. Once you have arrived at Darlington Train Station Gillian Arnolds is only a short 10 min walk into town.
